LOWER SCHOOL THEME WEEK CLIMATE CHANGE was fabulous. The students learned so much about this huge topic. There was a kick-off on Monday where the students saw a series of short videos to help them gain some background knowledge. Then on Monday and Tuesday, working in multi-age groups, they all did activities to increase their knowledge base. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, they created inventions of how they could help animals in different climate areas.  They presented their inventions on Friday to their peers through posters and infomercials.

Families: you may wish to consider taking part in the National Day of Unplugging. This event encourages everyone in the family to be cell-phone free for 24 hours starting at sundown on Friday, March 9. Though we use technology often at Roycemore, we value the time spent connecting with one another that this event allows. Some of our teachers may also participate during the day on Friday, March 16.
